Further development is also planned

Lakeside residents are set to benefit from extra facilities thanks to the next stage of retail development planned for Village Lakeside.

The Cardinia Shire Council has issued permits for Stage 3 and construction is expected to be completed late in 2009. The $4 million expansion will house medical services and specialist retail shops and cover 2,400m2 in total floor space.

Lakeside Square

Lakeside Pakenham has also just announced an additional Town Centre of 10,000m2 of retail and commercial space to be constructed on the South side of the railway line.
