Respecting our environment

Lakeside provides a lifestyle that is integrated with the natural environment, surrounding community and local facilities.

Delfin takes this sustainability initiative very seriously with wetlands designed to treat stormwater runoff from existing and future housing.

The Sustainable Water Recycling Program forms part of Lakeside’s commitment to the long-term future of the environment. Water run off is collected from surrounding land, roofs and roadways. The collected water is then directed through to the Waterford Rise wetlands and on into the lake.

Overflow from the lake runs through a series of under-roadway systems to large wetlands where is it recycled and reused for irrigation.
